Data Sources

Every figure on MoneyMust traces back to a published document. These are the sources we rely on.

Provider documents

  • Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC) and schedule of charges for cards and loans.
  • Policy wordings, brochures and prospectuses for insurance products.
  • Scheme Information Documents, factsheets and NAV history for mutual funds.
  • Published interest rate cards for deposits, savings accounts and small savings schemes.

Regulator and industry portals

  • RBI — licence status, rate circulars, banking and NBFC directions.
  • SEBI — intermediary registration, scheme disclosures, risk labels.
  • IRDAI — insurer registration, annual reports, claim settlement statistics.
  • AMFI — scheme classification, NAV feeds and expense disclosures.
  • Government schemes — notified rates for PPF, SSY, NSC, SCSS and similar.

Refresh cycles

  • Interest rates and NAV-linked data: reviewed frequently, since they move often.
  • Fees, charges and reward structures: reviewed on a rolling schedule and on provider announcements.
  • Claim ratios and annual statistics: updated when the regulator publishes new figures.

Verification dates and gaps

Product pages show the date the data was last verified. If a provider does not publish a value, we leave the field blank rather than estimating it. Where a figure depends on your profile, we publish the disclosed range and say so.

Spotted something stale?

Rates change without notice. If a number on MoneyMust no longer matches the provider's own document, tell us through the Corrections Policy page and we will re-verify it.
